Build editing and commitment
Check connected allocations, earned gates and equipment ownership.
Prerequisites: an idle character with an earned spear. The first connected allocation can be tested at low level; the advanced steps require their stated earned levels. Use Character & builds in the browser or /play → Build.
Step by step

01Record the current build
Inspect lineage, prepared techniques, equipment and available lattice point budget.
The displayed build belongs to your character and matches the items actually carried.
02Propose an allocation
In Connected disciplines add one affordable root node using its plus button. Read its effect and any dependency. Close or reset the proposal before committing.
The proposal count changes while the saved server allocation remains unchanged.
03Commit the allocation
Rebuild the valid proposal, choose Review allocation and commit. Refresh or reopen the client.
The connected allocation persists within the current point budget; the UI blocks unaffordable or mutually exclusive choices.
04Check a legal loadout
Use Edit build / Configure to prepare between one and six distinct techniques you have earned. Review before committing.
Unknown, unavailable or repeated techniques are refused. A valid configuration persists.
05Test a lineage change while idle
Read a different lineage’s public definition, choose Change lineage and commit. Inspect the resulting vocation and prepared list.
The selected lineage changes. Incompatible vocation-specific preparation is removed according to the actual advancement rules; the bag is not replaced.
06Earn later gates deliberately
At character level 8, with two victories or two excellent professional batches and one research note, try Advance for a chosen vocation. At level 12 test a general technique adjustment; at level 16 test an offered transformation; at level 20 test a different already-learned auxiliary vocation.
Each gate rejects an early attempt without spending resources. At its actual gate, the form records the chosen build. A catalogue entry alone is not proof of eligibility.
