Command visibility and first response
Confirm that a tester can open the installed Vesperan application.
Prerequisites: membership in a server where the operator has installed Vesperan, permission to use application commands in the chosen channel, and a supported Discord desktop or mobile client. The installed application may appear as Vesperan (A6).
The /play menus use short group names. Browser sections have more descriptive labels; use the mapping below throughout these tests.
Step by step
Tick a step after observing the expected result. Saved on this device only.
01Open the command picker
In the test channel type /play, then choose the command belonging to Vesperan and submit it. Also confirm that /link and /vesperan are listed for this application.
A private character panel opens. Record the elapsed time from submission to acknowledgment and any Discord interaction error.
02Verify the older entry point
Open /vesperan play and compare the character name, region and carried goods with /play.
Both entry points refer to the same persisted character.
03Check a missing-command case
If the application is absent from the picker, reopen the Discord client. Ask a server administrator to inspect the installed application under Server Settings → Integrations and the affected channel/member’s Use Application Commands permission.
Record a visibility problem separately from a command-handler failure; do not start a new character to work around it.
04Check one form
In /play choose Explore, select Visit, pick a local open place, complete the form, and inspect the review before committing.
The review identifies the action and chosen place. Only the explicit commit changes the character’s location.
