First session from an empty character
Reach the opening contact, accept the first account and walk to the free gathering area.
Prerequisites: one empty character. If you need browser/Discord linking, complete that path before first Discord play. This route reveals only the public opening and does not supply later story solutions.
Step by step
Tick a step after observing the expected result. Saved on this device only.
01Confirm the arrival baseline
Open /play or the browser Overview. Record Return Court in Hearthwake, zero coin and an empty bag.
A first-time character is not supplied with unexplained tools, equipment or currency.
02Visit the opening contact
Use Explore → Visit and choose Record House. In Journal choose Talk, select Ilya Reed and Greeting; in the browser choose Speak on Ilya’s card.
The conversation is available at the contact’s actual location.
03Accept A Place to Stand
In Journal select the available A Place to Stand account and choose Accept. In /play use Accept quest and choose the displayed account.
Its status becomes active and concrete objectives appear. Acceptance alone does not complete its objectives.
04Visit the depot
In Explore visit the Common Depot while idle.
The visit is recorded. Empty storage is a valid initial state.
05Commit the South Road
Choose Travel / Plan travel, route South Road, mode Walk. Inspect the review and commit once.
A travel job is created with a base duration of 7 minutes 30 seconds. Reopening panels does not teleport the character.
06Arrive and inspect the Commons
Wait for arrival, refresh, then visit Open Commons if it is not the current place. Open Professions, or /play → Work.
Southfields is the current region. Gather a marked patch and Choose useful fallen material are available without a bought tool or coin.
07Continue with Food and tools
Complete that route, then walk back on South Road and visit Record House. Read the journal’s actual remaining objectives and complete only those still shown.
Once ready, the account offers its authored choices at Ilya; select a direction yourself and retain the recorded outcome.
