Formation withdrawal and fifteen-minute expiry
Check unused reservations without launching a battle.
Prerequisites: one or two idle test characters in an eligible encounter region, each carrying one ration and owned equipment. No battle needs to be won.

Tick a step after observing the expected result. Saved on this device only.
01Record the baseline and prepare
Note ration count, individual gear IDs and condition, then prepare a Brush Hare in Southfields or Sentinel in Hearthwake. Do not launch.
Supplies and equipment are reserved in a forming encounter.
02Cancel one formation deliberately
Use Withdraw while still forming. Refresh the character.
Unconsumed ration, equipment and other reservations return; no victory or battle reward is created.
03Prepare a separate expiry attempt
When idle again, create another formation and leave it unlaunched for more than fifteen minutes.
The formation expires at its published deadline without requiring a player to remain online.
04Reconnect after expiry
Reopen the client and inspect the ended formation and inventory.
Participants are free again with returned unused reservations. The expired formation cannot be launched through an old control.
05Check the effect on a linked lead
If this formation came from an earned encounter lead, inspect Leads & approaches afterward.
Its recorded result reflects expiration/cancellation of the actual formation. It does not award a replacement victory or extra reward.
