Fund a buy order and fill only part of it
Verify escrowed coin and a regional delivery of the purchased good.
Prerequisites: A has at least two earned coins; B has at least two fiber; both are stationary in Hearthwake. This path uses a one-coin per fiber test price.
Step by step

01A posts a funded order
In Market choose Post buy order, item fiber, quantity 2, price 1, minimum quality 0.
Two existing coins move into escrow. The open order shows its funded quantity, region and current quote version.
02B supplies one unit
B inspects the order, then uses Fill buy order / Fulfil with the actual fiber item, quantity 1 and the displayed version.
One fiber moves to A’s Hearthwake depot. Exactly one escrowed coin moves to B’s bag.
03Try the stale order
B repeats using the earlier quote version while the order still has a remainder.
The stale version is refused with no extra supply or payment.
04A cancels the remainder
A cancels the still-open order.
Only the one unspent coin returns to A’s bag; the completed one-unit trade stays completed.
05Check place and ownership
A withdraws the bought fiber at Hearthwake. Repeat a small separate order with B in a different region only if both testers choose to travel.
Fulfillment must take place in the order’s region. A cannot earn trade credit by filling A’s own order.
