Browse the Journal and read complete entries

Check current objectives, local contacts, full text and an unchanged completed memory.

Prerequisites: use your own idle character with an accepted quest and a completed account. Visit a known contact for the People here check. If a prerequisite is missing, record it; do not mark the entire path complete from a partial run.

This path uses native /play controls and performs one reviewed Read memory action. It does not require accepting another quest, choosing a new outcome, earning rewards or testing the image demonstrations. Record character progress and carried goods before starting.

Step by step

Tick a step after observing the expected result. Saved on this device for this version of the steps only.

01Check the opening summary

Open /play → Journal and record its current, ready, local-lead, completed and contact counts. Choose Browse entries.

EXPECTED RESULT

The opening screen is concise. Its counts describe this character’s actual visible records.

02Browse every known category

Use Current quests, Local leads, Completed quests and All known quests. Open Next and Previous list pages when present; record when the list is shorter than one page.

EXPECTED RESULT

Every already-known entry is reachable. Completed records do not hide later current quests, and hidden quests are not revealed.

03Read the current objective first

Select the accepted quest. Read its Current objective, then Earlier objectives if offered. Do not take any quest action during this check.

EXPECTED RESULT

The current step appears first. Earlier disclosed objectives remain readable, and undisclosed future steps do not appear.

04Read complete details and contact

Use Entry sections → Quest details and read every Next page, then Previous. Open Quest contact and return through Back to entries.

EXPECTED RESULT

The full displayed premise is reachable without cutting off sentences. The quest title and public contact/place remain clear, and navigation keeps the selected list.

05Inspect people at the actual place

Choose People here and read a listed contact’s Conversation view. Then use Journal actions / refresh.

EXPECTED RESULT

Only contacts and known topics available to this character at this place appear. Reading the list does not perform Talk or award progress.

06Review and reopen one saved memory

Browse a completed account and choose Read saved memory — review. Cancel once, reopen the same account, then Commit its reviewed read. Read Account and its full outcome pages.

EXPECTED RESULT

The review names the selected completed account. Cancellation reads nothing; the committed read returns that account’s stored choice and outcome without repeating its reward.

07Return and reconcile

Use Open Journal, compare the summary and refresh. Compare character progress, goods and the saved account with your starting notes.

EXPECTED RESULT

Reading and navigation preserve the character, goods, jobs and completed history. A fresh Journal view reflects current availability without rewriting the retained memory.

Type two or more characters to search.
