Read and complete a normally timed craft
Check the exact pre-Commit quote, reservations and one normally settled batch through Discord.
Prerequisites: your own idle character with four fallen branches and two river stones for Make a stone-tipped spear. Earn or obtain the materials normally. Record XP, inventory, completed quests and jobs before starting; do not grant items or accelerate the clock.
Use the intended Vesperan application in the authorized testing channel. This path commits one ordinary craft and cancels a stop review. It does not commit cancellation or test measured-material manufacture. Optionally open Forge an iron spear first to inspect the two supported material selectors; if inputs are unavailable, verify there is no Commit and use Review options → Cancel preparation. Do not obtain or spend extra materials solely for that optional refusal check.
Step by step
Tick a step after observing the expected result. Saved on this device for this version of the steps only.
01Find the actual recipe
Open Work → Craft. In Find Recipe, search stone-tipped spear and select Make a stone-tipped spear. Confirm the recipe, then Continue.
The second form shows Batches only for this recipe. Set it to 1; no substitution JSON is present.
02Review the selected batch
Submit and read every required quote page. Inspect Review options → Exact materials, then Return to review. Compare every item identity and quantity against your notes.
Nothing is reserved before Commit. The quote lists four fallen branches, two river stones, one spear, actual time and quality, region and stop terms. Commit appears only after all required pages. The optional material details cannot commit the action.
03Commit once and read the receipt
Commit once. Record the time per batch and quality from Craft committed, then choose Open Work.
One craft is active and the exact quoted items are reserved. Receipt duration and quality match the quote. No craft output or XP settles before its boundary; without a facility adjustment this recipe takes four minutes.
04Read reservations and batch details
Use Reserved materials and read every page, including any batch identity and properties. Open all Craft details pages.
Four fallen branches and two river stones are reserved for this one batch. The details name actual input quantities, output and batch duration.
05Check output before completion
Open Settled output before the deadline, then return to Craft status and Refresh.
No batch output has settled before its normal boundary. The remaining time is identified as a snapshot and refresh does not advance it.
06Cancel the stop review
Choose Stop craft — review, read every page and choose Cancel. Do not press Commit on this cancellation review.
The review explains unused inputs and already settled output. Cancelling the review leaves the craft running with the same deadline and reservations.
07Wait and inspect the actual result
Wait for the normal duration without advancing the clock. Refresh the existing craft panel, then read Settled output and Reserved materials.
Craft complete shows 1/1 batches. One stone-tipped spear has settled to carried goods and no unused reservations remain. The observed standard recipe awards six character XP once.
08Reconcile and reopen
Page the completed output again, Refresh and choose Open Work. Compare inventory, XP, jobs and completed quest history with your starting notes.
The net goods change is four branches and two stones consumed, one spear added. Reading repeats no output or XP; older jobs and completed quests are unchanged. Record any clipping at your actual window size. If quoted terms change before a future Commit, expect a refusal and a fresh review, rather than an unreviewed spend.
